“Sense8” Season 2 Offcial Trailer Has the Sensates Looking Like Fine Art

With about three and a half weeks before Sense8 returns, Netflix dropped the official Season 2 trailer yesterday.  Amsterdam–one of the new locals where the show filmed time–is featured prominently, and Rembrandt’s masterpiece, The Night Watch (actually titled Militia Company of District II under the Command of Captain Frans Banninck Cocq), is used as a backdrop at the start of the trailer.  What looks like Hong Kong puts in an appearance–I’ve been there, which is why the scenes look familiar–and someone is returning to London.

The cluster is still in danger and Jonas (Naveen Andrews) appears to be in a lot of trouble, but one can sense the tide is about to turn, as Will (Brian J. Smith) tells Whispers (Terrence Mann), “We’re coming for you.”

Season 2 drops on Netflix 5 May, 2017.  Also, for anyone in the area, the first few episodes will be screen at Chicago’s Music Box Theatre on 23 April, followed by Lana Wachowski answering questions.
