Now, I had heard all the hype about Westworld, But, really, I just wanted something that will help justify the $45 a month I’m paying for my cable subscription. Plus, since HBO dropped True Blood and announced the end of Game of Thrones, I just wanted something super slutty to fill the spot that wasn’t FX’s American Horror Story. Plus, there is a Hemsworth, Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton in it.
What is Westworld? Well, if you have followed Cassidy’s recaps of AMC’s Humans, and enjoyed that show, Westworld is HBO’s response to AMC’s AI world. Except, in Westworld, you can pay for what every freaky, fucked up robot scenario you like. This is HBO after all.
The official synopsis is below.
